Tenable.io Overview

Overview

Tenable.io is a popular exposure management platform. One of the key and most common products used on the platform is Tenable Vulnerability Management. Through this product, Tenable can collect vulnerability information across your organisation and once integrated with CyberSystem, we can bring that data to provide a fuller view of your organisation's security posture. 

Process

The overall process for importing this data into CyberSystem is as follows:

1. Make sure you have setup and run scans (of any type) within your Tenable.io instance, so that you can see vulnerability data within the Tenable app. 
2. Create the integration between Teanble.io and CyberSystem: Setting up your integration for Tenable.io
   
3. Create your first export of Tenable vulnerability data into CyberSystem, along with a schedule and any relevant filters: Managing Tenable.io Exports
   
4. View your Tenable.io vulnerability data within CyberSystem via the Vulnerability dashboard, or CHR: Viewing your Tenable.io Vulnerabilities
