Managing Tenable.io Exports

Overview

This page helps you create, manage and schedule exports of vulnerability data from Tenable.io into CyberSystem. Whilst there is a focus on having this process run as smoothly and automatically as possible, there may be times where you would like to refresh the data from Tenable, change the schedule, or simply delete some data that was added in error.

Scheduled export settings

  • Depending on whether you have already set up a schedule and filters, you will see one of the two cards at the top of the page.

Filters

  • Filters are used to filter the Vulnerability data from within Tenable. Typically, when you open the Findings page in Tenable, there will already be filters applied:
  • The filters that are created in CyberSystem mirror those found in Tenable - providing a way to filter the data before you import it into your organisation.
  • This is an optional task - simply if you want to remove certain vulnerabilities from your data.
  • Simply choose a filter type from the dropdown, and click add filter to enter any details:

Schedule

  • The schedule is used to automatically export your Tenable findings into CyberSystem.
  • Typically you would set this to the same frequency as you would like to see the data in your reports and dashboards within the system.

Manual export

  • If you don't want to schedule your exports, or you simply want to refresh CyberSystem with the latest changes from your Tenable findings right now - simply click the "Refresh data" button at the top of the page.
  • From here, you will be provided the options to run an ad-hoc export using the same filters that are setup on your schedule, or use different filters for this particular export.
